Functional Nutrition approaches food with healing in mind and invites you to take a closer look not only at what you eat, but also how you relate to food. Through sessions we explore your habits around food and the health goals driving our need to eat differently, while also recognizing the need for our food and eating behavior to be fulfilling on an emotional and mental level.
Wellness coaching will help you incorporate and maintain behavior change.

This could mean building mindfulness to navigate emotional eating, changing cooking habits (for example how to work with herbs & spices, batch cooking, techniques for cooking veggies), or using therapeutic yoga to build body awareness and integrate movement to support your health.
Meet Amy Hillman-Siracusa, MA

Amy has her Masters degree in Holistic Health Education and Nutrition, is a certified HeartMath Coach, 2000+ hours of experience as a yoga teacher, and among the first in the country to become a board-certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).
​
Working for almost a decade as a Wellness Coach, she spoke with patients all over California to support them in making lasting health behavior changes. She has trained extensively in mindful eating, and views this as a key piece to making changes with food last.

She has been a part of our team for several years, helping patients to adopt healthier eating habits that are sustainable, and tailored to each individual, based on their unique needs. She’s there to support with everyday challenges and problem solve about how to integrate health changes smoothly.
